He moved to Lagos to study computer engineering and hardware repair, later branching into networking, website design, and programming. His pursuit of expertise led him to India, where he studied advanced programs in CCNA, MCSE, ethical hacking, and digital marketing. These experiences broadened his perspective on global technology ecosystems and the power of information to empower communities. On returning to Nigeria, he founded Webbiit Technologies with a mission to equip individuals and businesses with practical digital skills, mentorship, and innovative solutions.
Global Exposure and a Defining Realization
Freelancing on platforms like Fiverr marked a pivotal chapter in Ajayi’s journey. He began offering web design services and writing for clients worldwide, steadily growing his reputation and earnings. Through diligence, he achieved a milestone earning his first $100,000 and reaching near the highest professional level on the platform.
While this was a significant achievement, Ajayi recognized that freelancing alone could not satisfy his larger vision. He wanted to empower others, not just build his own career. This realization inspired him to expand his work into a structured platform that could reach more people: Webbiit Technologies.
Continuous learning has remained central to his journey. Ajayi holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, two M.Sc. degrees in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Ibadan. He has also earned certifications in CCNA, MCSE, cybersecurity, and digital marketing, complementing his professional affiliations with the British Computer Society and MCPN.

Sometimes the turnout was small, and recognition was limited, but these experiences taught him patience and resilience.

Ajayi is also planning a state-of-the-art headquarters in Benin City’s GRA area, which will serve as a first-class training center for Webbiit Technologies. The facility will provide hands-on education, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities for students and professionals. Complementing this is Webbiit Media, an online platform expanding access to courses for learners globally.
Looking further ahead, Ajayi envisions developing technology-driven solutions in sectors such as healthcare and security, reflecting his belief that technology can address real-world problems while creating social impact. His commitment to continuous learning ensures that he remains ahead of evolving trends and can equip others with the most relevant skills for the digital economy.
